Monte Pino overlooks one of Gallura’s most authentic landscapes. Around its heights, amid hills, granite, wind and Mediterranean scrub, lie territories that preserve some of the agricultural and food-and-wine traditions most closely associated with the identity of north-eastern Sardinia.
“Nature and Wine” experiences arise precisely from the desire to guide residents and visitors in discovering the deep connection between the mountain landscape, Gallura’s rural culture and the flavours of the territory.

The experiences will begin with walks and immersive activities among Monte Pino’s pine forests, granite rocks and panoramic viewpoints, crossing a natural environment where the Mediterranean wind, the fragrance of aromatic plants and the landscape’s light accompany the journey.
After the experience in the forest and on the mountain paths, the routes may continue towards local wineries and other organisations connected with wine production and the traditions of inland Gallura, with particular reference to Vermentino-producing areas and distinctive local products.
During these experiences, participants will be able to explore aspects of the local food-and-wine culture through opportunities to taste Vermentino and traditional products associated with Gallura, including myrtle, an aromatic symbol of this Mediterranean territory and its identity.
“Nature and Wine” is therefore an experience designed for those who wish to discover Monte Pino and Gallura not only through panoramas and paths, but also through the flavours, aromas and traditions that have accompanied life in these lands for centuries.
