Monte Pino, the natural terrace over the sea
At seven hundred metres above sea level, Monte Pino rises like a balcony overlooking the north-eastern coast of Sardinia. From here, the view embraces the gulf, the islands of the archipelago and the endless horizon of the Mediterranean.
Its historic Pinus pinaster forest preserves a delicate and unique ecosystem, where Gallura granite emerges among the roots and the Mediterranean scrub fills the air with the scent of myrtle, lentisk and strawberry tree.
The Municipality of Telti and Ambiente Mare Italia – AMI protect and tell the story of this natural heritage.
Monte Pino is not only a place: it is a sensory experience, an invitation to slow down, listen to the wind among the pines and rediscover an authentic connection with the most secluded nature of Gallura.
